Coming up Sunday, March 20 at 4pm will be Buffalo's annual Stars of Tomorrow contest at the Buffalo High School Auditorium, presented by the local Kiwanis Club.
Steve Reimann, secretary of the local Kiwanis Club, tells us more about the club and its contest.
The contest has three divisions: Junior Division for Kindergarten through 5th grades: Intermediate Division for grades 6-8; and Senior Division, which is for high school-age kids.
Winners will be chosen from each category, but the winner of the senior group will move on to the Divisional Competition at a site to be determined. The District Competition will be May 1 in Greeley, Colorado. Buffalo has performed and placed well at previous competitions, Reimann said.
The competition will give awards to the winners, ranging from scholarship money down to participation awards.
The Stars of Tomorrow Contest will be Sunday at 4 pm at the Buffalo High School Auditorium and tickets will be available at the door.
