The Sheridan Economic and Education Development Authority held a special meeting Tuesday to discuss the Request for Proposal for a future tenant of the Hand in Hand facility in Sheridan.
While the meeting was held to take public input and to line out specifications for the RFP, SEEDA Chairman Dr. Paul Young explains that the Board agreed on a couple of things that need to be in the RFP in some form or fashion.
Conditions that may be included in the RFP include, a 3-5 year financial history, if available, and a $180,000 maintenance reserve fund if the operator were to lease the facility.
Young stated that a draft RFP will be presented at another special meeting next Tuesday at 7 am at the Sheridan College Whitney Building Board Room. Young said that he hopes to have a final for the Board's approval at their regular monthly meeting June 28th.
