South Park is 38 acres of natural native riparian flood area located in south Sheridan. Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey says that they need a few good hands to help clean up the area next Saturday.
Kinskey says that purchasing the land was something that the City just couldn't turn down.
The Mayor said that clean up will begin next Saturday, August 7th at 9 am at the South Park parking area located about 200 yards west of the bridge on Brundage Lane. If you're interested in volunteering next weekend, you can call 674-6483 and ask for the Mayor's Office.
