Residents United for Rural Areas and Lifestyles expressed their concerns with the recently adopted Sheridan County Future Land Use Plan. The group is comprised of Sheridan County residents that live south of the City of Sheridan. Their concerns are that the future transportation maps of Sheridan County show road networks that do not reflect the views of area residents. They presented their ideas during Tuesday’s Sheridan County Commissioners meeting. Sheridan County Planner Mark Reid says the plan is a living document.
The “RURAL” group also disagreed with the Commission’s current work on a proposed Little Goose Water Treatment Plant. They encouraged Commissioners to look at emerging technologies before moving forward with any treatment plant project.
