It's been a long week and there are just a couple of events left, and that means the 2009 Sheridan County Fair is nearly at an end. Mother nature shook things up with a couple very hot days and also near record rainfall on others. Young people from all over the county competed no matter the weather with bids to next week's Wyoming State Fair on the line. What did people think of this year's fair?
Saturday's finale was the wildly popular pig wrestling event. The Fair wound down yesterday in preparation for tonight's sale. The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Public Lands Committee hosts a buyer's reception at 4 this afternoon. The Sheridan County Cattlewomen are holding a family dinner at the same time.
The Fair will end with the 4-H and FFA Livestock Sale that begins at 6 tonight.
