At the Sheridan County Commission meeting Tuesday morning, County Business Manager Renee Obermueller spent several minutes giving a Power Point presentation on the County's financial health, with a retrospective of revenue growth and capital improvements dating back to 2003.
The report covered everything from construction of the County Detention Center and later its kitchen; improvements on hundreds of miles of county roads; construction on the various phases of the Airport Business Park; implementation of a Capital Improvement Plan which allowed renovation of the four floors of the Sheridan County Courthouse; and work on the County Comprehensive Plan just to name a few.
In short, a lot of progress happened in Sheridan County in the last seven years, and Obermueller told the Commission how it was all accomplished.
At the end of Renee's presentation, Commissioner Tom Ringley noted that the auditors who had heard her report on Monday were quite impressed with how Sheridan County is looking financially. He added.
We'll have a link to the entire County Financial Retrospective posted in this story a bit later today.
