In an effort to better their response to fires, Sheridan Fire-Rescue will be expanding their Fire Preplan program to include all of the commercial buildings within the City of Sheridan. Fire Marshal Brian Songer explains.
Songer stresses that the Fire Preplan program is not a building or fire code inspection.
Songer said that they are asking for cooperation and assistance from business owners in completing the Fire Preplans, and that uniformed firefighters will be contacting business owners during regular business hours to gather the information. Songer indicated that most visits will take 30 minutes or less to complete.
