Coming up next week for three days in Sheridan is an annual conference called “A New Decade. Renewing Our Response to Sexual Assault for the Next Generation.”
Victim Advocate with the Advocacy & Resource Center in Sheridan, Rhonda Weber, explains.
Weber encourages the public to attend, saying that education about sexual assault or any victimization is important. And on a professional level, she says that the Summit offers continuing education post credits, medical CEU's and CLE's.
There will be several keynote speakers during the three-day summit, and one in particular should draw a fair amount of interest, Weber tells us.
Weber says the focus of this year's gathering will be on technology and teens.
The 10th Annual Sexual Assault Summit will be held Tuesday through Thursday, April 19th through the 21st at the Sheridan Holiday Inn and Convention Center.
