The Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Joint Powers Board met for their monthly meeting Tuesday morning. The Board received an update on the status of the WYO Theater renovation project. City of Sheridan Planning Director and SEEDA Board Member Robert Briggs says that the grant application is a bit different than what was originally planned.
The project consists of renovating the WYO Theater and the Perkins and Hallmark buildings to enhance the performing arts in Sheridan. Briggs also presented a draft of the design standards for the Hi-Tech Business Park in north Sheridan.
No definitive date has been set for that public meeting, but as soon as it is announced, we'll be sure to let you know. The estimated cost of the project is around $2 million.
