The Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority Joint Powers Board discussed a revised memorandum of understanding with Forward Sheridan during their meeting Tuesday. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has the details.
One of the hangups in signing off on the MOU is whether SEEDA should hire a broker to market their property in the Hi-Tech Business Park and Sheridan Commercial Park. SEEDA Chairman John Heath.
Heath, who's been opposed to the idea of hiring a broker, stated that he didn't see any reason why SEEDA can't market their own property. No action was taken by the Board, as there are still too many unanswered questions regarding the MOU to consider the document for acceptance. SEEDA did agree to break out in several sub-committees to work on some of the issues before their next meeting.
The Joint Powers Board should have some type of resolution prior to their next meeting on April 2nd.
