It's science fair time and an open house was held Thursday night in the Big Horn High School Commons area to showcase the work of over 80 middle school students.
The projects covered all gamuts of science including gravity, hygiene, sporting events, weaponry, to name a few. Middle school science teacher Tina Melin emphasizes the importance of the fair.
Students have been working on their projects since last November and Melin adds that science fairs also teach some life skills needed for these future Einsteins.
Parents, teachers, other students, and community members showed up to support the students, but also to check out the projects. Next step...regionals in February.
