The Sheridan County Public Health Building is apparently in need of a check-up and some repairs. At their regular meeting Tuesday, the Sheridan County Commissioners approved a contract bid to replace the lower roof of the building. County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller:
The lowest bid was awarded to Peak Construction at $16,465. One of the other bids was nearly $38,000 and the other just over $22,000.
A continuation grant award agreement with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for County Emergency Management Performance was also approved:
Just over $29,000 was awarded for this matching grant.
The Commissioners also approved appointments of Gene Davis to the Sheridan Memorial Hospital board of trustees and Mark Demple to Northern Wyoming Mental Health Center.
