The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce announced there will be an organizational meeting for those interested in helping the Rocky Mountain International Roundup which will take place in Buffalo early in 2012.
For those wanting to donate, participate, volunteer or help in any way, along with businesses who rely on the travel and tourism industries are encouraged to attend the meeting.
It will happen Monday, August 22 at 9am at the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce downtown.
RMI Roundups are scheduled in different towns every year, to bring together tour agents from all over Europe and representatives from the Rocky Mountain states of Montana, Idaho, South Dakota and Wyoming to bring visitors and tourists to experience the area firsthand. The roundups are an economic boon themselves, and once the visitors book the tours, it can become a huge economic boon to the communities involved.
