Wednesday, June 30th in 4th Judicial District, 23-year-old Kyle Reuter, with his attorney Eric Hevenor went before Judge John Fenn on a Motion to Modify Bond. Initially Judge Fenn told the Court he would put on hold a decision to lower the $20,000 cash-only bond until he received the latest State Hospital mental evaluation on Reuter.
Friday, July 2nd, the cash-only bond was modified with a cash Surety Bond in the amount of $20,000. It was posted by Todd Clouse of Clouse Bail Bonds of Cody, WY.
Reuter was released from the Sheridan County Detention Center pending further court dates. Terms of the Surety Bond are: Reuter is prohibited from accessing Internet in any fashion, including but not limited to World Wide Web pages, FTP sites and servers, UseNet or Peer-to-Peer networks; Reuter is prohibited from accessing Internet through any public or private network, cell phone technology or any means; and Reuter is prohibited from having any unsupervised contact with any minor under the age of 18, with the exception of his younger sister.
Reuter has been charged with Possession of Child Pornography; a trial date has not been set yet, as the Court determines from the hospital evaluation Reuter's mental competency.
