Open auditions for are going on at Sheridan College through Thursday. Sheridan Media's Betsy Love has the details:
You may remember the grumpy toad and friendly frog from the classic children's books, “Frog and Toad.” Well, if you've ever fancied yourself either of these characters or among the melange of their forest friends, now is your chance to be a frog, a toad, a turtle, a dragonfly or a field mouse.
What you are hearing in the background are the auditions for the classic children's tale, "Frog and Toad." However, if you are searching your memory right now trying to recall which stories among the original classics contained a back-beat, you may be thinking for a while. Lillian Sager, Co-director, tells us how this production takes a spin on the original:
Though, if dancing to hip-hop music on stage in a toad costume doesn't exactly sound like your forte, but you think you may still like to be involved, Lillian says this isn't a one-frog-fits-all type of production:
