As part of Fire Prevention Week, Sheridan Fire Marshal Brian Songer spent Thursday teaching students at Sheridan Junior High School cooking safety and how to use a fire extinguisher. Songer says it's all about educating the public about fire prevention.
The students were part of the Family Consumer Science class taught by Sandy Birkholz at the Junior High.
