The North Main reconstruction project is one of the largest public works projects in the history of Sheridan. Not only is WYDOT replacing the street and aging infrastructure, but there are a lot of enhancements being done to beautify the North Main area.
Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey says that despite the wet spring and summer, things are starting to progress nicely.
The Mayor said that all of the businesses in the North Main area remain open and that they appreciate the public's continued patronage.
Work also continues on the Sugarland Utilities project, which consists of replacing aging infrastructure in the area.
Sugarland Drive between the Holiday Inn and the Candlewood Suites will be temporarily reopened Wednesday July 14th through Sunday July 18th to allow for rodeo traffic to access the hotels. Sheridan City Crews will also be prepping streets for the August chip-n-seal project that encompasses Sioux to Whitney between Big Horn Avenue and Jefferson.
