Bobbie Spahn is a Public Health Nurse in Sheridan County, as well as the Public Health Coordinator. She has several tips for the public to stay healthy as clean-up takes place after flood waters recede.
Also of note, she says, is to keep children away from the water, as it is a breeding ground for a host of unpleasant and dangerous organisms and unknown objects.
A final tip, Spahn tells us, is what to do if an injury occurs while working to clean up property.
