For the past few months, the Sheridan City Council has been working to determine whether or not to contract with Rocky Mountain Ambulance, or to contract with Sheridan Fire Rescue to provide ambulance services within the City.
Both entities put together RFP's for a committee to consider, with early indications that Council may choose to go with Rocky Mountain.
At the July 5th Council meeting, over 200 Sheridan residents attended, the majority in support of keeping Sheridan Fire Rescue. If the City goes with RMA, six SFR personnel will lose their jobs. If the City goes with SFR, other City employees will lose their jobs.
This week's Bank of Sheridan / sheridanmedia.com poll question is: Should the City of Sheridan enter into an agreement for ambulance service with Rocky Mountain?
