The City of Sheridan Planning Commission at their meeting Monday night approved the site plan for the new location of the Wyoming Rib and Chop House at 5th and Main Street in Sheridan.
A variance to the landscape buffer of 10 feet to 5 feet on a portion of Main Street was approved to allow the restaurant to have enough parking to meet City code.
The Planning Commission did place one stipulation on the site plan before giving their approval. City Planning Director Robert Briggs says that it had to do with irrigation.
The owner of the building, Dave Sorenson with Rail Road Land and Cattle LLC, plans to tear the existing building down and construct a one story building with a brick facade.
Sorenson said that while plans are still tentative, they'd like to have the building complete by September or October of this year.
