A number of Halloween costumes were eaten, torn or chewed up this weekend. Of course, that is because the 10th Annual “Pet-o-Ween” contest was this Saturday in Sheridan's Kendrick Park. Sheridan Media's Betsy Love was at Pet-O-Ween and spoke with several pet owners to find out what inspired this year's pet costumes:
Somewhat ironically, “Doggy Ga-Ga's meat dress” was one costume that was not chewed or eaten...
Kandy Detavernier, Veterinary Technician for Moxey Schreiber Veterinary Hospital has helped organize Pet-O-Ween for several years. She says they will have the total amount they raised later today.
All proceeds from Pet-o-Ween go to benefit Sheridan's Dog and Cat Shelter.
