A recent storm in the northwest Wyoming has made things difficult for oversnow travel throughout Yellowstone National Park. Park Spokesman Al Nash says that only a handful of roads are open due to the recent weather.
Nash says that since the weather is always so unpredictable in and around the park, its a good idea for those traveling to Yellowstone to keep an eye on the weather forecast.
Nash said that the road between the park's north entrance at Gardiner, MT through Mammoth Hot Springs, Tower Junction, and the northeast entrance on to Cook City remains open to public wheeled vehicle travel. For road information on Yellowstone, you can call 1-307-344-2117.
