Representatives from RENEW, VOA, the Sheridan Senior Center Mini-Bus program and the Department of Workforce Services met in Sheridan Thursday to address concerns and possible solutions in regards to public transportation in the city. Workforce Services Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, Juan Duran, points out a concern with the current public transportation system in Sheridan.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed upon by everyone involved that putting together a community survey would be the best option.
Duran said that he will be working with Sheridan Mini-Bus Director Barb Daugherty in the coming weeks to put together the survey. Tentative plans are to hold another meeting after the results of the survey are collected.
