The Northern Wyoming Community College District Board of Trustees acknowledged receipt of a preliminary budget at their monthly meeting Thursday night. Chief Financial Officer Cheryl Heath explains how this year's preliminary budget accounts for revenue decreases
The proposed budget is over 22.2 million; this is an increase from last year's estimated expenditures of 21 million. The fiscal year for the District begins July 1st. The Board is expected to hold a work session on the preliminary budget prior to next month's meeting on May 20th.
The Board also heard an update on the search for a new Sheridan College President. If the search continues on schedule, three finalists from the pool of 35 applicants are to begin visiting Sheridan College for the final steps in the selection process on May 10th.
