CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A Nigerian citizen has been sentenced in U.S. District Court in Wyoming to prison for sexual abuse of a minor.
Thirty-six-year-old Aaron David Mbonu was sentenced Wednesday to four years and three months in prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release. He also was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment and a $400 fine.
Prosecutors say the charge stemmed from an offense in March on the Wind River Indian Reservation involving a child under the age of 16.
