Friday night was a night to honor Cathy Butler Aldrich. After thirteen years of serving as Sheridan County’s Fulmer Public Library’s director,
Cathy Butler Aldrich is ready to enter of new season of her life and the community honored her with a reception held last night at the library. With no particular plans in place following retirement, she does have a goal.
As far as interests, Cathy does have one she would like to pursue, one that all librarians anticipate.
Her years at the library have been years of restoration and rebuilding which have included renovation at the Story Library, redoing the parking lot at the Fulmer Library, revamping the circulation desk there and work in the Wyoming Room.
And for Cathy, what has she learned as Director after all these years?
New library director Cameron Duff takes the reins on November 15 and the transition has been smooth. Cathy wishes him well.
A new marriage, a new-built home...this isn't retirement, this is a new beginning for Cathy Aldrich.
