The Sheridan Police Department is warning people to be on the lookout for a new scam that is making its way around Sheridan. This one involves contacting the individual through e-mail says Sheridan Police Lieutenant Chris Dahmke.
Dahmke said that the e-mails are even making their way through spam filters, which typically make sure that scammers never make it to your inbox. The best advice if you receive a suspicious e-mail is to disregard it and delete it as soon as possible.
