Now that Hein-Bond Architects have been awarded the re-design of the Crazy Woman Square project, the next step in the process is contract negotiations between them and the City of Buffalo.
City Planner Zach Montgomery said he hopes to see the finalized contract soon so the architects can get started with the design process.
Montgomery said the plan is for Hein-Bond to complete the design by the Spring of 2012 and construction to begin shortly thereafter. The project is tentatively scheduled to be completed by December 15 of 2012.
The Vision Buffalo Commission, who was overseeing the project, has now moved on to the second phase of the downtown plan, according to Montgomery.
