Mule Deer Foundation Raises Funds for Projects

The Powder River Chapter of the Mule Deer Foundation held their fundraiser dinner Saturday at the Johnson County Fairgrounds. Sheridan Media's Aaron Palmer has the story.

More than 120 people enjoyed a catered meal, various auctions and camaraderie at the fundraiser, which has become a popular annual event in Buffalo. Foundation member Paul Kozisek explained what the fundraiser is all about.

The meal was catered by Peter John Camino and there was enough for everyone to get good and full, said Kozisek.

Kozisek said proceeds from the fundraiser go directly back to habitat restoration or enhancement projects here in the local area.
