Five days from start to finish, beginning last Wednesday, the people in Sheridan and Johnson Counties rallied and filled two buses with food to take to Montana on Sunday.
In an effort to help our neighbors to the north, Bethesda Worship Center sponsored an effort to help those affected by the recent Montana flooding. $8,000 to $10,000-worth of donated food was packed on the buses, and stops were made in Wyola, Lodge Grass and Crow Agency.
Janice Wilson is the wife of Pastor Bunny Wilson from the Wyola Baptist Church. She was overwhelmed with the hundreds of pounds of food which will be put to good use.
Bethesda Worship Center was simply the mode of transportation; the folks in Sheridan and Johnson Counties were the ones that made the outreach successful.
