
GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - Searchers have found the body of a Gillette woman who has been missing since Monday, and no foul play is suspected.
The Gillette News Record reports authorities found the body of 49-year-old Ruth Martinson on Thursday near her truck, which searchers found earlier in the day. Campbell County Coroner Tom Eekhoff tells KIML-AM she died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - The body of a Gillette woman who has been missing for about three days was found Thursday afternoon near where her truck was discovered a few hours earlier.
Undersheriff Scott Matheny confirmed that Ruth Martinson’s body was found a short distance from her 2008 Toyota Tundra truck north of Rozet along the Adon Road.
Authorities began the search for 49-year-old Ruth Martinson Tuesday night. She was last seen after she left a class at Gillette College on Monday afternoon.
The Gillette Police Department, Campbell County Sheriff's Office and the Civil Air Patrol as well as volunteers assisted in the search for Martinson.
