The Sheridan County Museum will be celebrating history, culture and tradition this weekend with Miss “V” - the Gypsy Cowbelle, who will be bringing her signature “Cowbilly” music to Sheridan.
Nathan Doerr, Curator of Museum Education, describes this truly original guest.
Rustic, raw and timeless, Miss “V” will share her program, Doerr tells us
Doerr says that what appealed to him about having her come to Sheridan was her keen interest in promoting programs that focus on children and their families.
Tickets for Friday night's performance at the Carriage House are $10 for adults, $8 for Seniors and Active Military, $6 for Museum members and $5 for children ages 12 and under. Tickets are available at the Sheridan County Museum or at the Carriage House one hour beofre the show. Proceeds from the concert benefit the Sheridan County Museum. The event at the library on Saturday is free and open to the public.
Both Friday's and Saturday's events are supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Arts Council, through funding from the Wyoming State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts.
A sampling of Miss “V” can be heard here.
