The 2nd public meeting for the Goose Creek Watershed TMDL will take place tonight at Sheridan College. The consultants will be discussing phase two of the TMDL analysis completed for bacteria and sediment on the Goose Creek Watershed.
TMDL stands for total maximum daily loads and is a requirement of the Clean Water Act. Carrie Rogaczewski with the Sheridan County Conservation District explains just what TMDL is.
Rogaczewski says that tonight's meeting is a good chance for the public to get involved.
The Goose Creek TMDL meeting will take place this evening at 6:30 at the Sheridan College C-Tel Presentation Hall.
