Sheridan's future business owners, council members, bosses and community activists have two weeks left to register for the 2013 Chamber of Commerce Leadership Sheridan County Class. The eight-month course is designed for members of the community to put some serious study into the art of leadership, which includes studying up on ethics, government, commerce, industry and local issues. Chamber of Commerce Director, Dixie Johnson, says the class is a staple for the community's go-getters.
Tuition for Leadership Sheridan County is $400, or $500 for non-chamber members, and scholarships are available for prospective students who are running low on cash. Participation requires a weekend retreat in January, and afterward, monthly classes until graduation next fall. For more information, contact the Chamber of Commerce.
