The second annual Johnson County Lego Building Contest is officially underway, and those interested in participating can pick up their entry guidelines at the library through March 25.
Steve Rzasa, of the Johnson County Library, said last year's contest was very popular, and he explains what last year's winners received.
Creations can be dropped off at the library from March 23-26 and will then be displayed from the 26th to the 29th.
An awards party will be held on Thursday, March 29 at 4pm at the library.
The contest is open to all ages from kindergarten through 12th grade in five different age groups. Contestants can use a Lego kit, but should expan their design to incorporate their own idea. Kids are encouraged to build their designs without help from others.
Entry forms and guidelines can be picked up from the library or downloaded at jclwyo.org
