At their meeting February 7, the Johnson County Commissioners approved a number of requests from various entities.
The commission approved the certification of tax districts with no changes, but will readdress the boundaries in the future, at the recommendation of County Assessor Cindy Rogers.
Also approved was a request for approval from the Airport Board for the contract for professional services on airport contracts from 2012 through 2017. The board had recommended WWC Engineering and they were approved for the contract.
A powerline project for the Cemetery District in Kaycee required an easement which was approved by the commission, and utility easements for Rocky Mountain Power to supply power to the justice center and courtroom facilities was also approved.
The YMCA requested use of county property for their annual 3-on-3 basketball tournament and the request was approved for June 9 and 10 of this year.
Finally the commission approved a request to re-appoint Bob McCann to the Johnson County Predator Management Board.
