Johnson County's Commissioners approved agreements concerning the hazard mitigation plan and the survey of lands at the airport.
The first agreement was with Michael Baker Jr., Inc. to complete the county's Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan.
The agreement had changes suggested by County Attorney Ken DeCock that were approved by the company. The agreement came back for the commission chair's signature.
Also agreed upon was a letter of agreement between the county and Nelson Engineering for the survey of land and boundaries at the county airport.
Commissioner John Gibbs explains further.
According to Gibbs, the cost of the engineering and surveying project of the airport is $3,000.
