The Johnson County Commissioners will have a public hearing to let citizens voice their support and/or concerns over the proposed County Animal Regulations that are currently being discussed for possible implementation by the county.
The meeting was scheduled at the request of Olin Turner and the St. Francis Animal Shelter, after the proposed regulations were printed in the Public Notices in the newspaper recently.
Turner explains why people seem to be concerned with some of the regulations.
Fee schedules and fines as well as other parts of the regulations are also of concern, Turner said. The public hearing will be at 2pm Tuesday, August 16 during the County Commission's meeting upstairs in commission chambers at the Johnson County Courthouse. Copies of the proposed regulations can be viewed at St. Francis Animal Shelter or on the county's website www.johnsoncountywyoming.org
