The draft of the proposed animal regulations in the county will be the topic of discussion during a public meeting at the Johnson County Commissioner's meeting Tuesday.
The public hearing was scheduled in response to some citizen's questions and concerns regarding some of the regulations, to give them an opportunity to voice their concerns.
Commission chair Smokey Wildeman explains further.
The public hearing will begin at 2 pm in the commission office at the courthouse.
Also on the agenda for Tuesday, the commissioners will discuss Resolution No. 434 to officially support the proposed sports complex, and also will discuss supporting the grant application to SLIB for the upgrades to Buffalo's SW quadrant.
Christy Love will address the commission regarding the proposed Rock Creek Wilderness. The commissioners will take action on a number of resolutions and amendments to regulations and discuss tax corrections and supplementals.
The meeting will begin at 9am upstairs in commission chambers at the Johnson County Courthouse.
