Deputy salaries in the county will be addressed by the Johnson County Commission at their meeting Tuesday.
Commission chair Smokey Wildeman explains why the issue is on the agenda this week. That discussion will be at 9:30am.
After a short meeting Monday with landowners in the area, the Commission will discuss the Bypass Road easement and right-of-way issue at the meeting beginning at 10am.
The Commission will get an update on the new courtroom facility and will discuss the issue with the architect and contractor currently working on the adjacent criminal justice center.
That presentation will begin at 1pm.
Also at their meeting, the Commission will process more tax cancellations with County Assessor Cindy Rogers.
They will discuss radio consoles and computers for the new criminal justice center.
And they will hear presentations on the Kaycee Area Transportation System (KATS), and will get updates from county attorney Ken DeCock on occupational testing, the Kaycee mill levy regarding solid waste, airplane storage issues at the airport, and a tower agreement with the Rural Healthcare District.
The meeting will begin at 9 o'clock this morning in the commissioners' office upstairs at the Johnson County Courthouse.
