It wasn't sleigh bells that that could be heard in downtown Sheridan Saturday morning, but the sound of bells on running shoes hitting the pavement during the annual Jingle Jog Fun Run.
Sponsored by Sheridan High School's cross country team and the Foot of the Big Horns, runners tied bells to their shoes and Michelle Maneval says the 5K, untimed fun run is just a great time for folks to get together.
Michael Rotellini is a senior at Sheridan High School and a member of the cross country team. He says it's the bells that make this run special.
The entry fee was an unwrapped toy to be donated to local needy children for Christmas.
