At their last meeting February 29, the Johnson County Healthcare Center's Board of Trustees received a number of positive reports from staff.
Chief of Staff Dr. Brian Darnell reported that the Kaycee Clinic had seen 58 patients in January, double the amount seen in 2011.
Deficiencies found earlier in the Amie Holt Care Center (AHCC) late in 2011 have been corrected and the center will be in compliance this month.
The Buffalo clinic had 1,366 patient visits in January, down from 1,491 in 2011.
Home Health and Hospice currently has 30 volunteers, 5 in Kaycee and the report given by Elaine Kozisek was positive.
The building project is on schedule to be completed this spring and projections are for the project to be completed for $12 million, About $500,000 under budget.
Department of Health issues with a sink in the lab area have been resolved at a cost of roughly $5,000.
Donations to the care center in February totaled $8,230 with $2,880 donated to Hospice; and $5,350 donated to the care center.
