If you haven't had a chance to get your flu shot this year, don't worry, there is plenty of vaccine left and ample opportunities around Sheridan to do so. Sheridan County Public Health is one of those places; however, only on certain days and times says Public Health Nurse Katie Hiller.
The cost for a flu shot is $10 for an adult, and for those 18 and under there is no charge. Hiller points out that the confirmed cases so far this flu season have been significantly lower than last year.
She mentioned that not all cases are reported, and not all Doctors test for the flu, so those numbers could actually be a little bit higher. For more information on when you can get your flu shot at the Public Health office, click here.
