The Sheridan Recreation District and Wyoming Game and Fish are offering a hunter safety course that consists of twelve hours of instruction and a day on the range that will include the final test.

Wright said that the course is recommended for ages 10 and older, but that those under the age of 10 are welcome if they are accompanied by an adult.
There will also be a couple more sessions offered aside from the one that begins next week.
To register for the course that begins January 16th or any of the following sessions, you can either go online to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department's website or you can stop at the Sheridan Recreation District Office in Thorne-Rider Park.
The classes are limited to 35 students.
