No news was good news at a Sheridan Memorial Hospital regular board meeting Wednesday afternoon, after certified accountant Jerrel Tucker of Fresno-based auditing firm TCA Partners gave a positive annual audit report to the board.
A positive audit for fiscal year 2010-11 is the hospital's third no adjustment audit in a row. Hospital CFO Ed Johlman.
“The hospital should take a minute to pat itself on the back, but you can't let up.” Tucker added during his report.
The hospital also received an update that the new Linear Accelerator was used to treat its first patient at 1 pm on Tuesday afternoon. Patients had to travel to Gillette while the new Linear Accelerator was installed. Also, the new CT scanner has been running since last week.
The Building Committee reported to the board that they have chosen a traditional design bid-build for the Cath Lab remodel. The remodel project is scheduled to go to bid in December, begin construction in January and be completed in June.
