
Prisoner, James Friesen, who had escaped from the Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp in Newcasle on Monday is back in police custody. According to a media release from the Wyoming Department of Corrections, Friesen was arrested Wednesday night after a three-day manhunt that involved extensive searching. Friesen was apprehended in Pennington County, South Dakota, and was turned over to the county's sheriff.
The Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp, a minimum security facility, is still under partial lockdown status. The Wyoming Department of Corrections is internally investigating how the escape occurred.
