The first presentation for Sheridan College’s Natural Resource Lectures series took place, Monday night in the college’s CTEL room.
Called “How the Wyoming Wildlife and Natural Resource Trust Helps Wyoming’s Communities,” the lecture drew over 60 interested attendees. The trust’s primary job is to help fund projects that enhance wildlife habitat and natural resources. Bob Budd, executive director of the trust, explained.
It’s all about conservation on the ground. The river enhancements at Kendrick Park and around Dead Swede Campground in the Big Horns are two prime examples of what the trust has helped fund.
Hopes are the lecture series will continue once each semester for the next several years.
