A halo of silence surrounded Holy Name Church in Sheridan Thursday. Approximately 300 people stood in reverence and as a shield of "protection" for the mourners attending the service of Private Jesse Cerwick.
Though the counter-group of so-called "Primitive Baptists" out of Topeka, Kansas, claimed they would be in town for the funeral with their signature hate signs, there was no sign of them, although unconfirmed rumors circulated that they were staying at a hotel in Sheridan.
However, as Assistant State Commander for the Patriot Guard in Wyoming Jo Foster explains:
Overall, the sentiments were similar as was expressed by one of the many flag-bearing "protectors":
And that the "Primitive Baptists" did not make an appearance seemed of no concern to those gathered in support for the friends and family of Private Cerwick:

There will be another service in Sheridan Friday afternoon. This is for Army Sergent Jaymie Allison, who was stationed in Georgia when she was killed in an accident last week.
