Over 100 people attended the first annual Wonderful Wyoming Fundraiser held at the Historic Sheridan Inn Friday night. All proceeds went to benefit the non-profit group called Guardians of the Range.
Executive Director Kathleen Jachowski (jack-how-ski) of Cody explains the purpose of the group.
Guardians of the Range helps ranchers by focusing on public land grazing issues and range land health along with improving relationships with federal land agencies. The group takes a two prong approach to their work. Jachowski explains.
The Guardians work benefits not only the ranchers, but the general public as well.
Policy, resources, the Guardians also protect the American
way of life.
The night included a social hour followed by dinner and special speaker, Montana State Legislature, Krayton Kerns, plus a silent auction.
