Great Lakes Aviation has announced an upgrade in aircraft service is coming soon to the Sheridan County Airport. Beginning September 1st of this year, Great Lakes will replace their 19-passenger Beechcraft 1900D aircraft with its 30-passenger Embraer Brasilia-120 aircraft on the majority of their flights to and from Sheridan.
The larger planes will be used for the two daily flights that depart at 6:45 am and 1:10 pm. From Denver to Sheridan, the larger aircraft will be used for the daily flight that departs at 11:30 am, the Saturday flight departing at 3:30 pm and the Sunday through Friday departure time of 6:55 pm.
